A VERY nice compliment

We attended a very nice wedding show at one of my favorite local wedding venues, Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden, this weekend. The weather was too nice so there was not a great turnout, but I did have the opportunity to meet some very nice brides.

One other person did show up towards the end of the day.... a very nice young lady who was with her 5 year old daughter. She said she had sort of tricked her boyfriend into coming.... and spent a lot of time talking about loving wedding cakes and blogging....

So today she sent me a link to her blog with some oh so very nice things to say....

Daniel Is a Cub Scout... Finally!

After following his big brother for four years, to all of Charlie's Cub Scout meetings, camping trips etc, Daniel finally got his own uniform. Here he is putting it on for the first time!

I had an assignment to shoot the Tosco Music Party held annually - this time at CPCC's Halton Theater.  The eclectic mix of music was superb and the light was nice too.

Sarah and Toby's wedding

We had a fantastic time this past weekend photographing Toby and Sarah's beautiful uptown Charlotte wedding.  The couple said their vows at St. Mary's Chapel in uptown and hosted a gorgeous reception at the Omni Hotel.  It was an honor to be a part of their day and we wish the couple all the best.  Here are some of Jason's selects from the film.
